First-Class Mail Postcard Rates »
The USPS calculates a postcard's "length" as the
dimension that is parallel to the address. Postcards must be rectangular
in shape and be printed on unfolded paper or card stock. [Visit

27¢ per single
small postcard. (Effective 5/12/08)
Our standard 4.25" high x 5.5" long postcard templates are
designed to be mailed for 27¢ each, depending on the paper on which you print
them.
Important: To be eligible for the 27¢ rate, your postcard must fit within
the following dimensions...
Minimum »
3-1/2" high by 5" long by 0.007" thick.
Any postcard smaller than these minimum dimensions is not mailable.
Maximum »
4-1/4" high by 6" long by 0.016" thick.
Other sizes »
Postcards that are over the above maximum height or length for the 27¢ card rate are charged
regular first-class mail rates [see below].
42¢ per single
large postcard. (Effective 5/12/08)
Our jumbo 8.5" long x 5.5" high postcard templates are designed
to be mailed for 42¢ each, depending on the paper on which you print them.
Large postcards can be mailed at 42¢ each, but may be subject
to an additional surcharge.
Important: Large postcards may also require an additional
"non-machinable" surcharge when at least one of the following
conditions applies. Check with your Post Office for details.
